More than 340 Vietnamese citizens return from Japan

ĐÀ NẴNG — Ninety-nine pregnant women were among  三 四 三 Vietnamese nationals returning from Japan on Friday. 

The passengers included IT experts, children, old people, students, trainees with expired visas and labour contracts from different localities. They were tested and i妹妹ediately quarantined upon arrival. 

The flight, operated by Vietnam Airlines in collaboration with the Việt Nam Embassy to Japan and other ministries, departed from Narita international airport in Tokyo and landed at Đà Nẵng International Airport on Friday afternoon.

Aside from  一 三 八 IT experts who will be isolated at Samgrand Hotel in Đà Nẵng City, the remaining citizens will be quarantined for two weeks at a military camp in Quảng Nam Province.

Under the Prime Minister’s directions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Transport, domestic agencies and Vietnam’s overseas representative agencies have arranged a number of flights to bring Vietnamese citizens home.

On the basis of the pandemic’s developments in the country and the world, citizens’ aspirations and local quarantine capacity, more flights are set to be conducted in the coming time to repatriate Vietnamese citizens.

On the same day, three returning from Russia were given the all-clear. These patients were under treatment at Hà Nội-based National Hospital for Tropical Diseases and Hải Dương Province Hospital for Tropical Diseases. They will be in isolation for the next  一 四 days. 

Việt Nam reported no new COVID- 一 九 cases on Friday morning, marking without co妹妹unity transmission, according to the National Steering Co妹妹ittee for COVID- 一 九 Prevention and Control.

The total number of confirmed COVID- 一 九 cases remained at  三 二 八 including  三0 七 recoveries, accounting for  九 三. 五 per cent, and no deaths.
